It’s the moment so many PSL holding peeps have been waiting for: PUMPKIN PATCH SEASON! Where the air is crisp (even if it’s 80°… don’t take this away from us), the pumpkin spice is flowing, the stacks of scratchy sweaters are growing, leaves are turning golden and the pumpkin patches are officially open! Being someone who brings in this time of year with glee, I immediately inked in a visit to Craven Farm’s opening day of their pumpkin patch. While it was a busy weekend with not a lot of time to visit, we made it work and even a quick trip didn’t disappoint.

It wouldn’t be a visit to the pumpkin patch without a photo in front of a pumpkin wall! I love that this is the entrance to the patch and people were kindly waiting their turn for this (quite literal) right of passage. For those visiting with little ones, there are a lot of activities for the kids to do. You’ll find toys for the kids to play on, wagon rides, apple cannons and slingers, corn maze and more!

For those wondering about wheelchair accessibility, we did have a family member with a wheelchair and found the main area of the farm very accessible. The area around the giftshop just past the entrance was paved and had lots of pumpkins, gourds and decorations to choose from.

For photographers visiting, take a look at Craven Farm Photography Guidelines here. Whether you’re a professional photographer or a visiting family just taking shots with your phone, Craven Farm is adorable and has some fantastic little photo ops!

A highlight for us (okay… me) was definitely the animals, especially the KITTENS. Aaron can attest that I probably spent most of my time by the kitties and if we didn’t have a little one to chase around, I probably would have stayed longer. The animal area was monitored by an attendant and also had goats and pigs.

LOOK AT THIS SWEET KITTY!

This jumping area provided our little one with so much entertainment! The unicorn was a hit and the air she got was impressive!

We can’t wait to visit Craven Farm again! This was a fantastic Snohomish find. At the end we stopped in the gift shop and I may have to go back for one of their gold logo sweatshirts- it’s possibly the softest merch I’ve ever felt!
